Grays Court York
Historic House and Tea Room

Grays Court is gaining a delightful reputation as a space in which established and new artists are pleased to display their work.
The house offers a grand setting for exhibitions and it is a privilege to welcome so many beautiful pictures and objects. We are developing a rolling programme and during the course of the next year will host exhibitions of paintings, sculpture, jewellery and ceramics.
Original art work is on display throughout the house with the Bow Room and the Stairway home to striking paintings by Russell Platt, David Tolley and June Lloyd Jones. The Library houses works by Granville Heptonstall, Rae Webber and Anita Klein. Visitors are encouraged to browse and comment.
Most of our artwork is exhibited strictly on loan, but some pieces may be for sale and commissions are possible by negotiation.
AURA – Four Yorkshire based jewellery designers have showcased here and plan to hold an annual exhibition of their work and that of other national and international designers.
